Thirstystone products are covered against manufacturing defects for one year from delivery: cork backing that separates, coasters that arrive cracked or chipped, printing or embossing that fails under normal use, and holder finishes that flake.

Staining is not a defect. Porous stone absorbs, and dark liquids left to soak can leave a mark. The material is doing its job. The care guide covers how to lift most of it with a baking soda paste.

Not covered: damage from dishwashers, freezing, dropping onto hard floors, or using a coaster as a trivet for cookware straight out of an oven.
