About Thirstystone

Thirstystone makes coasters out of porous sandstone. Absorb the condensation rather than block it: that one decision is why the brand exists, and why its coasters behave differently from the cork and plastic ones they usually replace.

The range splits three ways. Bare sandstone sets show the stone's own banding, so no two coasters in a box match. Printed and embossed sets put a herringbone, a botanical, an antique map or a pressed relief on the same absorbent core, for people who want the function without the quarry look. Then there are the rooms where absorbency is the wrong answer altogether: offices, rentals, households that run on red wine. Those get stainless steel sets and a cast iron holder that fits any 4" to 4¼" coaster.

Every stone set is cork-backed so the stone never touches your table, and every one cleans with a damp cloth and mild soap. Several lines are manufactured in the USA and say so on the box.
